Meet our founder

Hi, I'm Laura and I'm the founder of Week of Treats - I'm the person doing a little happy dance each time a Week of Treats box is purchased! I live in Stirling, Scotland with my husband Dave and our 2 wild and wacky boys.

When it comes to birthdays in our family, we've always tried to spin them out for as long as possible. Talking about your 'birthday week' or even 'birthday month' is pretty common! I came up with the idea for Week of Treats based on that - "one day is not enough" - why not spin it out and have a gift every day of your birthday week? And why stop at birthdays? You can send a gift at anytime, for any reason and if the gift is actually 7 gifts in one and lasts an entire week - even better! 

I personally love sending a Week of Treats to arrive on the occasion date then the recipient has a whole week of fun and gifts ahead. It works particularly well for kids who are excited for a whole year about their birthday and then are so disappointed when it's over - but with a Week of Treats they still have the rest of their special week to enjoy! 

I love that when you send a Week of Treats to someone you end up with a whole week of interaction with that person - messages going back and forth each day discussing the gifts and the meaning behind them. It's a great way to reconnect with people.

A word about the packaging

We're doing our best to be as eco-friendly as possible. All packaging is from recycled materials and is itself reusable or recyclable. Where possible we try to source products that are from sustainable sources, reuse packaging from suppliers and avoid adding any further waste to the process.
